Campbell Mattinson The Wine Front
SASSY Pinot Noir 2010
"Finding good pinot in New South Wales - or indeed, north of the Macedon Ranges - is never an easy task.
This is a welcoming, generous style. Sweet spice, sweety oak, sweet-sour cherries and a grainy, earthen, spicy finish. The core is quite sweet, but fruity, well managed tannin keeps it tidy. It didn't jump out at me but it didn't turn me off either. It carries a couple of bronze medals and I'd reckon that's about right." ..... Campbell Mattinson The Wine Front
