From Orange, NSW. Arneis' (pronounced arr-nay-iss) spiritual home is in Piedmont, in the north-west of Italy. Made by Peter Logan of Logan Wines, this has a perfume of vanilla blossoms, citrus rind, bourbon casks and pear skin.  The slightly smoky, viscous body lends weight to the palate, while spiced citrus fruit carries long to a nutty, almost Manzanilla sherry finish. Pair it with grilled barramundi and brussel sprouts.
